The Client
Buzzie's founder knows how it feels to be personally victimized by blood-sucking fiends. Buzzie is a plant-powered insect repellent brand founded by & for mosquito magnets. Not only is it all natural, Buzzie has gone under third-party clinical studies to prove efficacy. The founder knew she had something unique and needed support finding and connecting with her target consumer, sharpening the brand positioning to start building presence on social and email, and putting together a wow-worthy pitch deck as she sought VC funding.
The Ask
As Buzzie geared up to launch, the founder engaged BLUR to deeply understand its target audience and set Buzzie up to be distinct in its competitive bug-spray and bug-lotion category through strong, well-defined brand positioning. In order to pitch to VC investors, Buzzie looked to define the company’s strategic direction with a tactical investor pitch deck in Buzzie's distinct voice and visual look & feel.
